This was the sunset from my walk in the park. I loved how despite the brightness of the sun, it just turned the trees on the hill so dark and almost silhouette as the rays radiated out from the golden orb.
I am definately a sunset person as I think it gives the world this ethereal quality. I can almost see the fairies dancing in the light as it descends beyond the horizon, and hear the elves sing with the dragonflies. . .
Beautiful!

I LOVE this pic! Breathtaking!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou can sell your photos somewhere, Vic he he he...Btw, how did you manage to capture it so beautifully? I haven't managed to capture a bright sun without ruining the quality of the pic. :-(((((
Anyway, I personally LOVE your description of fairies and elves. I LOVE sunsets, too. As I'm not a morning person, I don't get to see sunrise too often hi hi hi hi hi...
love the pic
ReplyDeleteCool shot.
ReplyDeleteI never really thought about the world being divided into sunset people and sunrise people. Hmm. But this lovely pic is enough to persuade even die-hard early risers...
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeletesjThanks guys! And nice to see you here hammer.
ReplyDeleteI just loved how all I saw was the glow.
Amel - There is a setting on my camera for 'sunsets' so I just clicked on that button :) It has a couple dozen presets, so I just use those most of the time. Simple really, it's a pocket camera, size of a thick credit card.
Paper - I always heard that, and people try to say the sunset people are glass half empty, but I love a good sunset and to sleep past noon, so it's not like I have a choice!
Sunset, another day gone. Sunrise, another day breaking thru.. I love sunrise, slowly watching how nature taking place

OOHHHHH...Nice preset for the camera!!! I also have some features like "snow" or "moon" and I can adjust the aperture and stuff, but I know nothing much about it. I guess I should try to find photography tips and tricks online he he he...
