I'm Leaving On a Jet Plane

For the first time in about three years I'm going on a vacation. It's just a couple days in Chicago, but I've never been so look forward to just 'chillaxing' as the kids say nowadays. I should be back by Saturday/Sunday, and will have no computer access.

The cute thing is, my boss said she's proud of me for finally going. "It's so nice seeing how well you are taking care of yourself!" she told me over lunch. "And remember, I'm old enough to be your mom, so I can say that."

I do love the people at my job, they really do care about each other.

OMG, I can't wait!

I hope you have a very enjoyable time. Keep your eye open for a handsome young architect... preferably NOT married. (The one in "Now Voyager" was married.)

Have a wonderful holiday. Stay safe. Be happy. Chillax. And celebrate the fact that you have colleagues who care.

And fellow bloggers who care, too.

Chicago is definitely on my places to see list too. How was your well-deserved trip? Any deep dish pizza on your itinerary?

Have a fantastic time honey, it's well overdue. I like the sound of this boss of yours, she seems to know what she's talking about. x
